报告题目：Existence and Non-existence of Parameter Limits of Principal Eigenvalues for Second-Order Linear Elliptic/Parabolic Operators

摘要：In this report, we will discuss parameter limit problems of principal eigenvalues for some classical elliptic/parabolic operators. First, we briefly describe the origin and relevant background of the related problems. After that, we will discuss limit characterizations of principal eigenvalues for some parabolic operators with time-periodic parameters. Finally, for a class of elliptic operators with convection terms, we construct examples to show that the limit with respect to the convection parameter may not exist.

白学利：西北工业大学数学与统计学院教授，博士生导师。2012年4月在大连理工大学获博士学位，2012年9月-2015年6月在华东师范大学偏微分方程中心进行博士后研究。2015年7月至今在西北工业大学数学与统计学院工作。2017年5月-2018年10月受洪堡基金资助在德国帕德博恩大学同数学家Michael Winkler进行合作研究。主要研究方向为反应扩散方程，在J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS)，Math. Ann., Indiana Univ. Math. J.，J. Funct. Anal.， Calc. Var. PDE，Nonlinearity，J. Differ. Equ. 等数学期刊发表论文二十余篇，主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目，中国博士后基金一等资助、特别资助各一项，参与国家自然科学基金重点项目一项。
