摘要: We propose and study the phase field model on a three-dimensional bounded domain for a two-phase, incompressible, inductionless magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) system, which are important for many engineering applications. To efficiently and accurately solve this multi-physics nonlinear system, we present a fully discrete scheme that ensures both mass and charge conservation. Making use of the discrete energy law, we demonstrate that the fully discrete scheme satisfies unconditional energy stability. Subsequently, by utilizing the Leray-Schauder Principle, we establish the existence of solutions to the discrete scheme. As both mesh size and time step size tend to zero, we prove that the discrete solutions converge to the weak solution of the continuous problem. Finally, several three-dimensional numerical experiments, including the accuracy test, the bubble coalescence, the drop deformation and the Kelvin-Helmholtz (KH) instability, are performed to validate the reliability and efficiency of the proposed schemes

毛士鹏,中科院数学与系统科学研究院研究员、博士生导师,中科院大学岗位教授。主要从事有限元方法及其应用、计算流体力学和磁流体力学、自适应算法等领域的研究工作,在Math. Comput., Numer. Math., SIAM J. Numer. Anal., SIAM J.Sci. Comput., M3AS, JCP, CMAME,PoF等知名刊物发表 SCI 论文 90 余篇。曾获中科院院长奖、中科院朱李月华优秀教师奖以及中科院青促会人才项目等,承担来自科技部,基金委,中物院,九所,中科院大气所等单位的多项重要科研任务课题。
