In
this paper, we consider the spectrum of the Neumann-Poincar/'{e} operator and
its application in analysis of plasmonic resonance in some quasi-periodic
structure. Based on the Plemelj’s symmetrization principle and the approximation
of quasi-periodic Green’s function, we derive the asymptotic formulas for the
plasmonic resonances, which lead to the direct numerical method for calculating
the plasmonic resonances. It is expected to apply to super-resolution,
super-focusing, enhance the brightness of light and confine strong
electromagnetic fields.
